So many people ask on a daily basis: “How much do you make?”

It’s a hard question to answer because PSO’s don’t have a set rate, per hour or so. We make a per minute rate, and if you are good you have a minimum balance each customer has to atleast spend to waste your time.

When I first started, I made .30 a minute and was doing calls that people could only purchase 5 minutes for. So that was 1.50 I was making for a 5 minute call. Now I don’t make less than about $10 per call under 10minutes. So you do the math. At the company I work for, we have a minimum of 10mins a customer has to buy. Depending on what he wants, the price per minute changes. Now I have the choice of turning down clients, of telling them to pay for a certain amount of minutes and then seeing that they don’t even get to talk to me for that long.

A customer just bought me a $500 phone that I claimed I wanted. Well he thought he was buying me a phone, what he was doing was giving me money to do what the hell I want with. I have a customer paying bills of mine. I have clients giving me money to have me even consider talking to them. I love it. When you get better and when you stay in this business longer, the benefits alone are enough to stay. My boss has a client who spends about $3000 on her each month and thats just one of her clients, think of what she makes from all the others she have. A client of hers bought her a house and whatever else she can dream of. I’m not on her good voice status yet but I’m getting there. She easily makes about $500 - $800 a day if she works herself.

When I started my own little business platform on my own, I charge whatever I feel like for that day, if I’m looking for more calls, I’ll run a cheap special, sell pictures, videos, and whatever else will entice clients to pay for my voice. I’ve had calls where I charge $35 a minute and talked about nothing. I have had calls where I don’t even talk to the client, I ignore them.

So again “How much do I make?” A little bit sometimes and a whole lot sometimes. How much can you make? A little bit sometimes and a whole lot sometimes.

Companies vary on how much they advertise and how much they pay too so getting with a good company is very good. For girls who want to jump in this and think that in the first month you are going to make $5000, please laugh at yourself, its not that easy, its annoying, hard work. It takes time to build up your clientele. It takes time to hone your craft and niche. I’m still a newbie in this eventhough I’ve been in it over a year so I can only get better as the time goes on.
